There’s a reason why Porsche hasn’t made many changes to the overall silhouette of the legendary 911 over the past few decades. Not only is it beautiful to look at it’s efficient! The PCar’s sleek aerodynamic shape allows it to cut through highway winds like a knife through butter. Much like an ADV.1 Wheel, every line and detail that has gone into the design is put there for a purpose. Performance, lightweight, and style are all philosophies shared by iconic Porsche 911 and ADV.1 Wheels, so when the two are combined the results are pure perfection.
It’s no secret that our friend Kevin of Cycle World Miami likes to go fast. If he’s not on a custom road bike made from carbon fiber and space grade alloys, he’s terrorizing the streets of South Florida in his big single turbo MKIV Toyota Supra equipped with ADV.1 Wheels. But since his Japanese sports car is primarily built for the drag strip and the large rear mounted parachute might as well be a huge sign that says “GIVE ME A TICKET!”, Kevin oped to pick up a new daily driver.
Of course he needed something that was practical that would also get him to and from the office. So to be practical he went with an all wheel drive platform and to get him from point A to point B he NEEDED at least 560hp. When you’re coming from a 1000 HP Supra on drag radials your standards get kind of high. With an additional 40 horsepower over the standard Porsche 911 Turbo, the Turbo S can be launched from 0-60 in under 3 seconds. Beating out super cars like the McLaren 650S, Lamborghini Aventador, and new Ferrari 488 GTB. Thanks to the standard Over Boost feature that comes with the S, your pants will tighten up as you’re violently but somewhat sensually hurled into the back of your seat by the german car’s 553 lb-ft of torque.
The Matte Black Centerlock ADV.1 Wheels shown in the photos were installed by our local one stop shop that specializes in modifying high end sports cars and luxury vehicles, ADV.1 Wheels. They wrapped Kevin’s 10 spoke forged wheels in a set of 225/35/20 & 305/30/20 Pirelli P Zero performance tires respectively for the 20×9.5 front, 20×12 rear wheels.
Below you’ll find a full media gallery of photos taken by a man with a beard where his face should be, William Stern. The video was done by a very unbearded Emil Garcia. For more information about these wheels for your car, please contact us.
