ADV.1 continues to push the boundaries of style and performance with the first public showing of the ADV.1 CF.2, the first wheel from their new Carbon Fiber Series and partnership with British carbon wheel specialists Dymag. The ADV.1 CF.2 was unveiled this morning at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas with a custom fitment on the ultra-exotic 2018 Ford GT.
The CF.2 is the first wheel to come from the strategic partnership of ADV.1 Wheels and the British design and manufacturer of performance automotive and motorcycle wheels, Dymag Group. The CF.2’s construction is made up from an aerospace grade 6061 forged aluminum center paired with a patented Dymag BOXSTROM carbon hybrid barrel joined by the use of lightweight Tikore Titanium Hardware.
This combination has resulted in the lightest multi-piece ADV.1 Wheel to date. In addition to the carbon fiber rim, the center is the result of advanced engineering and testing to continue to reduce weight without compromising strength and deflection. The CF.2 also features Tikore titanium hardware for maximum performance.
The result is a wheel that is up to 40% lighter than OEM cast aluminum wheels, with a corresponding 40% lower moment of inertia – meaning drivers will experience faster acceleration, sharper braking, as well as vastly superior road handling; all without compromising safety.
