Given that the BMW 8 Series is replacing the old, rather liked 6 Series, giving the outgoing BMW F13 M6 a farewell worthy of its fame is what was needed to be done. This becomes even more evident once you take into account that the “new” BMW 6 Series will be the rather awkward looking, albeit luxurious & comfy Grand Tourer. Nothing of the stature of the M6, we can safely say. For this Alpine White BMW F13 M6, we’ve built a set of our custom-made ADV10 Track Spec SL Series wheels. These three-piece forged wheels make for a perfect addition to this high-performance machine, but it’s the Rose Gold finish applied to them that sets this build apart.
The outgoing BMW M6 is powered by a 4.4 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. It delivers 560 horsepower and a maximum torque of 502 lb-ft (680 Newton meters). In turn, the M6 is capable of some impressive performance. The vehicle uses a 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) system, allowing it to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.0 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph (250km/h). For many, this is the perfect foundation for an aftermarket build.
This particular Alpine White BMW M6 comes from South Florida. Daily driven on Miami roads, the vehicle needs to look the part. After all, you can’t park anything right next to your favorite South Beach eatery. The build features a complete carbon fiber aero package. It consists of a front lip spoiler, side skirts, a rear iso diffuser, and a rear decklid spoiler. Certainly, the addition of carbon fiber parts that only serve the visual department are shied away from by many, with this Alpine White build, they make for that perfect accentuating touch. However, just like in so many builds before, it’s the wheels that set this M6 apart from its counterparts.
For this particular vehicle, the owner went with a set of ADV10 Track Spec CS Series wheels. Built specifically for this application, these custom-made three-piece forged wheels suit this vehicle perfectly. Sized 21×10 in the front and 21×11.5 in the rear, the wheels fill out those large wheel arches of the M6 perfectly. While usually, most of our customers go with a Man Bronze finish (if they want to go in this visual direction), for this build, the owner went with something different. Gaining popularity over the course of the last few years with laptops and mobile phones, Rose Gold is making a great entrance into the wheel world. These ADV10 Track Spec SL Series wheels feature Brushed Rose Gold finish for the centers and Polished Rose Gold lips. Finally, an Exposed Hardware option was chosen for these wheels.
