The BMW M2 is dubbed as the “Baby M” by both enthusiasts and owners alike. However, this little high-performance beast is a true BMW ///M car in every possible aspect. From the unmistakable styling, aggressive body design lines and a high-performing engine, the M2 can accelerate and handle like the best of them. The BMW M2 is powered by a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 365 horsepower and 343 lb-ft (465Nm) of torque. It also comes with an overboost function which temporarily increases torque to 369lb-ft (500Nm), giving it a nice power punch in hard acceleration or mid-range speed runs. The engine is mated to an either 6-Speed manual or a 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) system. In turn, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.5 seconds for the manual and in 4.3 seconds for the DCT system installed. As usual, the top speed is limited to 155mph (250km/h), but can be extended to 168mph (270km/h) when optioned with the M Driver’s package.
In addition, the M2 features reinforced pistons, and has lighter aluminium front and rear suspension components resulting in a 11 lb (5 kg) weight reduction. That, and items similar to those, make this a purebred ///M car.
This particular BMW M2 comes with a gorgeous Brooklyn Gray Metallic exterior finish, joined by a set of ADV5.0 FLOWSpec monoblock flow-formed wheels.
