Lately, Tesla has been all over the news. With substantial gains for anybody holding Tesla stock, all the way through the impressive sales numbers posted by the Model 3, the American carmaker is making strides in pushing luxury EVs to the world market. While the Model 3 might be the model that brings home the bread for Tesla, it’s older siblings – the Model S and Model X – are what brought the wealthier customers to the brand. And the Model X, thanks to its contemporary design, impressive performance levels, gullwing doors, and impressive design, all wrapped in a package that can haul seven-people over a long distance, make it a perfect family ride.
The Tesla Model X is by no means a subtle car. However, due to its vast popularity, there’s a mass of these battery-powered crossovers on the roads today. And that for some owners, that poses a rather bittersweet problem. Like most up and coming individuals, standing out in the crowd is what’s important. And for this Tesla Model X owner, that meant going with a full vynil wrap and a set of aftermarket wheels, put together by Clean Tesla / The Speed Shield our of Texas. The end result is one of the most striking Model X builds to date.
This particular Model X features a gorgeous dark blue matte metallic vynil wrap. Overall, color-changing wraps that look different in various lighting conditions and from distinct angles, are rather popular these days. And this wrap certainly follows that beaten path to the letter. However, while some other projects featured wraps that are seemingly over the top, this one looks rather clean & fits the large Model X perfectly. Naturally, the wrap is followed by a set of custom-made wheels, putting the exclamation point on this build.
This Model X features a set of custom-made ADV6 Track Spec SL Series wheels. These feature a three-piece forged configuration in our SuperLight Series line. Thanks to a design that showcases six spokes and a Matte Black and Gloss Black finish, these wheels pose a great addition to this vehicle. For this project, the wheels are machined in sizes of 22×9 and 22×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. Furthermore, the wheels come with the aforementioned Gloss Black and Matte Black finish combination. The final touch is the 50/50 Exposed Titanium Hardware option.
