Out of several historical British carmakers, only a few remain as relevant these days. If you dive into luxury, there are just carmakers alive which epitomize the British panache and all that the Great Britan’s car industry stands for. And those two are Rolls Royce and Bentley, one of the most highly-coveted carmakers in the world today. Certainly, both are owned by Germans but still producing what is the quintessential British luxury machine. While Rolls Royce is the one oriented more towards sheer luxury, Bentley, thanks to its racing heritage, still attract owners who are more keen on performance, than just sheer luxury. And the Bentley Continental GT V8S epitomizes both performance & luxury like no other.
Powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, delivering that 521 horsepower and 502lb-ft of torque, the GT V8S can kick ass both on and off the track. The vehicle uses an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox that allows it to sprint from 0-62mph (100km/h) in only 4.3 seconds while shooting you out of corners like an enraged maniac. Add the classical design and sophistication found in every facet of this thing, and you’ve got a perfect Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in one vehicle. Simply put, the Continental GT V8S can duke it out with the best of them, while taking your significant other to dinner later that day in sheer comfort & class.
EVS Motors recognized this dual usage of the vehicle and decided to give it an upgrade in what seemingly is the only lacking area of the vehicle: the wheels. While Bentley outdid themselves with pretty much every aspect of the newer Continental GT’s, the wheels are always the only problematic area for a lot of owners. For a vehicle that exerts such high-performance and class, costing well over $250,000 per pop, nothing short of excellence is expected in the wheel department. Hence, a set of our recently-revealed Advanced Series wheels fit the bill perfectly.
For this build, EVS Motors went with a set of ADV510 Track Spec Advanced Series wheels. For this build, the wheels are sized 22×10 in the front and 22×11 in the rear. In turn, they add that perfect finishing touch to this British machine. Furthermore, the Matte Black and Gloss Black finish combination looks really clean on this Bentley as well. Finally, the wheels are optioned with the 50/50 Exposed Titanium Hardware.
