The latest Lamborghini Aventador we’ve completed is a limited edition model coming from the luxury car maker. It was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini. In a nutshell, it was the car maker’s gift for their buyers. Naturally, when the vehicle was chosen, it had to be made even more exclusive and desirable.
Lamborghini took care of that with a special limited release first shown in 2013 in Shanghai. Limited to only 100 units, this model carries the name 50 Anniversario, meaning that it is made to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th birthday. The Aventador comes with an exclusive aero package to help it stand out from the crowd of normal Lamborghinis – even if that sounds a bit impossible.
Starting with larger and wider air intakes, the package also adds oversized flaps and a big splitter, where as the back now has a large diffuser which helps to increase aerodynamic efficiency for more than 50 percent.
Yes, the interior also got an update. Namely, it received a gorgeous and elaborate stitching scheme, dubbed Q-Citura, developed just for this model. Naturally, the engine couldn’t remain stock. In turn, the Lamborghini Aventador’s 6.5 litre V12 engine weighing only 235 kg was further refined. Known internally as the L539, this new engine was actually Lamborghini’s fourth in-house engine and just the second V12 design. It is the first all-new V12 since the 3.5 litre powerplant found in the 350GT.
Of course, the engine is now upgraded and develops 710 horsepower, for those that consider the standard 691 HP just not enough. One thing though, surprisingly the performance stays the same. But no one was really complaining about that one to begin with.
But, as even these rare beasts get bought buy owners who already have established themselves as experts in taste – as far as cars go – getting the already awesome and quite rare Lamborghini Aventador 50th Annivesario an even more impressive appeal was the key goal. Naturally, we stepped in for this build.
This Aventador features PML101 Track Spec CS Series wheels. Built as part of our private design option, these wheels are a perfect lightweight option for this beauty. The build work was completed by our friends at MC Customs in Miami, Florida.
These wheels come in sizes of 21×10 in the front and 22×13 in the rear, respectively. The Fine Texture Gunmetal finish was applied to the wheel centers, while the Polished Aluminum with Clear adorns the lips. The end result is a clean & classy looking supercar that will not go unnoticed anywhere it goes. Take a look at the full build gallery below.
