For many, our wheels are most welcome on high-performance luxury machines like a Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta or for example, a Porsche 911 Turbo S. However, our wheels find their home on a wide variety of builds. And hot hatches, delivering performance levels once reserved for supercars, are definitely something we like to see. And the 2018 Audi RS3 Sportback is one of those cars that not only look good but also, are completely worthy of a high-quality set of custom made aftermarket wheels.
Powered by a 2.5-litre five-cylinder twin-turbo engine, the Audi RS3 Sportback delivers a whopping 395 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. This allows the Audi RS3 to sprint from 0-60mph (0-97km/h) in just 3.9 seconds, while reaching an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h). To put things into perspective, the famed Ferrari 430 did the same run in 3.6 seconds – just 0.3 seconds faster than this thing. However, for Luca, the owner of this beautiful custom finished Metallic Ice White Audi RS3, this wasn’t enough.
While you may see a completely different customer profile inquiring about a set of our wheels – and especially our Advanced Series wheels – for Luca, there was no real dilemma. This particular Audi RS3 comes with a set of wheels sized 19×9 in the front and 19×9 in the rear. The wheels feature a Brushed Liquid Smoke finish and a 50/50 Exposed Hardware option. Furthermore, this vehicle comes with an AirLift air suspension, combined with blacked out windows and logos. In turn, this is one of the cleanest and most interesting RS3 Sportback builds we’ve seen so far.
The vehicle is displayed at the 2019 Torino Tuning Expo in Italy and you can check it out from 1-3 of February. While it may not be on the same level size wise as SEMA Show, it certainly brings a lot of Italian tuning aficionados and fans in one single place.
