Clearly, this is not the first twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracán out there. Not by a long shot. However, it’s one of the most unique twin-turbo builds to date. Coming from TR3 Performance – our authorized dealer & a tuning powerhouse – it features a completely street legal, twin-turbo kit for the Italian high-performance machine and a set of ADV5.2 M.V2 CS Series custom-made forged wheels.
The twin-turbo kit takes the naturally aspirated 5.2 Liter V10 engine from an already impressive 600 horsepower to more than 850 horsepower powering all four wheels. While some other kits are only to be used on the street per the owner’s discretion, this particular kit is completely legal (according to the tuner) in all 50 states. Additionally, it features a re-purposed front trunk area, containing a liquid intercooler and an icebox to keep things cool and additionally increase performance at the same time. To finish the performance tune off, the naked rear end of the vehicle gives a full view of that large twin-turbo setup. Complete with all the necessary forced induction parts and the exhaust system, it makes for one of the most menacing looking Bulls we’ve seen to date.
For TR3 Performance, this is just another day in the office. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida based tuner is well-known for their striking work in made-to-order tunes and aftermarket builds for owners that want to go that extra mile. With a completely worry-free experience, the customer is able to utilize all 850 horsepower and propel its Huracán to impressive driving dynamics. Naturally, the build can’t be called finished without an upgrade in the wheel department.
The Huracán comes with a pretty good looking set of lightweight monoblock wheels from the factory to begin with. But for those looking to put the exclamation point on their aftermarket build, a set of custom-made forged wheels is in order. The same principle was applied by TR3 Performance, as having their show car with OEM wheels, simply wouldn’t cut it. In turn, the tuner went with a set of ADV5.2 M.V2 CS Series wheels to add that striking final touch to their twin-turbo Huracán build.
For this particular project, we’ve produced the standard 20/21″ wheel setup we build for most customers with the same car. The wheels are sized 20×9 and 21×12.5 in the front and rear, respectively. This is a slight bump from the stock sizes, but our engineering & design departments worked out the necessary fitment requirements and produced a viable size and width ratio that works well with the Huracán’s all-wheel-drive system. The wheels feature a Brushed Aluminum w/ Gloss Clear finish and a 50/50 Exposed Hardware option. This last item adds that interesting final touch to the overall visual guise of these wheels. The end result is one of the most staggering Huracan’s in the world.
