Ferrari clearly outdid itself with the successor to the 488 GTB. Named F8 Tributo, this Ferrari is simply one of the most beautiful pieces of machinery to grace the streets of the world in recent years. And when you drop this vehicle in the well-loved Rosso Corsa Red paint scheme, utter drool fest comes to life. However, for this Rosso Corsa Ferrari F8 Tributo, our authorized dealer R1 Motorsports wanted to make it even better, whereas they’ve added a set of custom-made ADV10 Track Spec CS Series three-piece concave forged wheels.
In the power department, the F8 Tributo uses the same engine found in the Ferrari 488 Pista, a track-oriented beast of a car. It’s powered by a 3.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering 710 horsepower and 568lb-ft (768 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful conventional V8-powered Ferrari engine produced to date. To achieve this, the vehicle uses specific intake plenums and manifolds with optimized fluid dynamics to improve the combustion efficiency of the engine, thanks to the reduction of the temperature of the air in the cylinder, which also helps boost its power output. Furthermore, several additional lightening efforts, custom Inconel manifolds, and other items improve the overall performance, making this a true technological marvel of an engine.
Thanks to the fact that the engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system, the F8 Tributo can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 2.9 seconds, while the sprint from zero to 124mph (0-200km/h) can be attained in 7.6 seconds. The vehicle allows for a top speed of 211mph (350km/h). Add the fact that – according to Ferrari – Tributo’s downforce has been increased by 15 percent as compared to the 488 GTB, making it a potent weapon both on the street and the track.
That being said, for this R1 Motorsports customer, the OEM look of this Ferrari wasn’t enough. In turn, they’ve worked with us to create a set of wheels fitting to this beast. Namely, the customer went with ADV10 M.V2 CS Series two-piece concave forged wheels, giving this Rosso Corsa machine some ten-spoke beauty. The wheels for this build are sized 21×9.5 in the front and 22×12.5 in the rear. For the finish, the customer went with a Polished w/ Polished Windows finish combination, topped off with 50/50 Exposed Titanium Hardware.
The resulting build is one of the most striking Ferrari F8 Tributo’s out there. You can grab a detailed look at the final product in the large media gallery right below.
