Ever since the vehicle was revealed at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, the Huracán never stopped amazing us. Its name is derived from the fact that the car comes with 610 metric horsepower and comes with a four-wheel-drive system, allowing supreme grip and handling. On the other hand, the LP stands for “Longitudinale Posteriore”, which refers to the longitudinal mid-rear engine position of this vehicle.
While the Huracán may be equipped with the same V10 engine found in the Gallardo, the engine in the newer high-performance machine was slightly re-tuned. In turn, in the Huracán, this engine yields a bit more power and torque. The Gallardo could rely on 560 horsepower, while the Huracán can count on 610 horsepower. As a result, the V10 engine installed provides enough power to propel the car from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 3.2 seconds. Furthermore, the Huracán will reach a top speed of 202mph (325km/h).
