Just recently, BMW revealed the all-new BMW G30 3 Series. That means the next-generation BMW 4 Series will soon follow suit, with the new generation of the BMW M4 to follow shortly. In turn, this makes the current BMW F82 M4 a vehicle on its outgoing cycle. However, for many, the current M4 is still one of the best looking and performing coupes available on the market today. The M4 of this generation is powered by a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 425 horsepower and 486lb-ft of torque. This allows the high-performance coupe from the Munich-based carmaker to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. The M4 will reach an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h).
Even though the successor is just around the corner, the current-generation M4 still packs a pretty hefty punch and is one of the best driver’s cars money can buy today. However, this owner, bit by the modding bug hard, meant that the M4 is also the perfect foundation to start an aftermarket build.
For this owner, however, the modding bug bit hard. It all started with a series of carbon fiber additions. Firstly, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler was installed, followed by a rear diffuser and a rear decklid spoiler. This was followed by the addition of custom aftermarket front lights, resembling in style those of the new BMW M4 GTS. Further GTS notes can be seen thanks to a set of M4 GTS taillights – completed with the compelling LED design.
On the inside, you will notice a set of Recaro bucket seats. These yields both a visual and a performance improvement over the OEM Seats. They are lighter, come with improved lateral support and help keep the driver in check in tight cornering situations. To improve safety, a complete roll cage was installed. Furthermore, a set of Schroth five-point racing harnesses was installed as well.
Finally, the BMW M Performance steering wheel was added, giving the interior a race inspired look and feel. The final touch for this build, however, is a set of custom-made ADV.1 Wheels the owner went with for his build. These lightweight ADV10 M.V2 CS Series wheels are made from high-quality forged aluminum. Built in a two-piece configuration, they come with utmost perfect fitment and adhere to the specific requirements set forth by the build. For this BMW M4, the wheels are machined in sizes of 20×9.5 in the front and 20×11.5 in the rear. The wheels feature a Gloss Gunmetal finish and a 50/50 exposed hardware option.
