This Nissan GTR features a Katsura Orange exterior paint finish. Named after Katsura, a Japanese ornamental tree most-known for its delicate heart-shaped leaves and bright autumn colors. Featuring a mix of bright yellow, pink and orange-red, Katsura creates one of the most beautiful Autumn colorways. That particular combination is translated by the Japanese car maker into one of the most impressive exterior finishes we’ve laid our eyes on. Perfect for the high-performance machine like the GTR.

The GTR features several unorthodox solutions envisioned by the Japanese car maker. Featuring yet another break with convention, Nissan GT-R comes with a Premium Midship Platform that places the engine further back in the chassis, allowing for better handling. This unique layout also allows the transmission with the transfer case to be mounted in the rear of the Nissan GT-R, creating the world’s first independent rear transaxle for an all-wheel-drive vehicle. The Nissan GT-R is powered by an ideally sized, twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine, producing a whopping 565 horsepower and an equally impressive 467 lb-ft of torque.

Thanks to the GT-R’s sequential dual-clutch transmission – which can snap off lightning-quick gear changes in just 0.15 seconds when in R-Mode – the vehicle is able to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 2.9 seconds. In turn, this makes the 2018 Nissan GTR a powerful track car and an amazing starting platform for an aftermarket build.

This 2018 Katsura Orange Nissan GTR comes from the Phillippines. Built by our authorized dealer Excellar Enterprise, it features a set of ADV5.2 M.V2 CS Series forged wheels. For this build, we’ve machined a set of wheels sized 20×10.5 in the front and 20×12.5 in the rear. Additionally, the Matte Gunmetal finish was chosen, alongside an Exposed Titanium Hardware option. In turn, this understated set of wheels fits the high-performance narrative of the Nissan GTR perfectly, adding just that perfect finishing touch to this build and merging together Japan and U.S.A perfectly.
