Speaking of performance, this wheel just happens to be the lightest one on our list. And I know you’re looking at the White on White Pablo Escobar Miami Special we have going on below but we’re talking weight, not color. The ADV.1 M.V1 configuration is a one-piece (monoblock) wheel made from lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum. Furthermore, when paired with our Competition Spec Series – which removes weight from each spoke – thus creating even lighter and esthetically complementing designs that flow perfectly with the Aventador’s already in your face body lines, this results in some pretty impressive aftermarket builds. If you’re not big on three-piece wheels, it’s good to know that all of the wheels on this list can be machined in either a monoblock or a two-piece configuration that caters to the best of both worlds.
9. ADV10 M.V1 CS Series Monoblock Forged WheelsIf your a fan of the OEM Lamborghini Aventador SV wheel you might want to take a look at this wheel. We cut back on the number of spokes to better accentuate your brakes, all the while adding our own flavor of how a mesh wheel should look like. The three-piece wheel shown below has a subtle two-tone look of a Matte Black Center with a gloss black lip, something you just can’t get with a monoblock wheel. You may have noticed that I said this was a three-piece wheel, but when you take a good look at it, you’ll notice how the assembly hardware is nowhere to be found. We call this feature “Hidden hardware”. Furthermore, we also offer 50/50 Exposed Hardware where only 20 of the 40 titanium bolts can be seen from the outside of the wheel, providing the middle ground for owners that wanna retain the shown hardware, but wanna keep things less busy on the overall wheel design. 8. ADV7 Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsCertainly, we did more than a few of these ADV15 wheels on LP700’s in the past, in both our Standard Standard and Super Light Series. However, none quite DID IT like Ben Baller. A jeweler to celebrities in the likes of ASAP Ferg, Tyler the Creator, Drake, The Kardashians, Justin Bieber – and more – Ben is also a supercar aficionado, to say the least. Ben is not like most run-of-the-mill celebs, he is a true car enthusiast. Much like his jewelry, every car he touches is a one-off piece of art. He works exclusively with Platinum Motorsports on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, all in order to achieve things that are just a level above everyone and everything else. From suspension modifications to full on custom exhaust systems, nothing on Ben Baller’s cars can be bought traditionally off the shelf. Same as our wheels. Additionally, the ADV15 Track Spec Competition series found on Ben’s Aventador even feature his signature BB logo, custom engraved into each wheel center cap. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what custom wheels are all about.
7. ADV15 Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsYou’re looking at the wheel that launched quite possibly the most successful series in the wheel industry. The ADV.1 Competition Spec Series was first introduced in the form of this ADV5.2 Track Spec design. It features a split V 5 spoke and in the 3 piece Track Spec Configuration, its spoke extended out to the lip creating the appearance of a larger wheel with more concave depth. The ADV5.2 is one wheel that has proven itself to look good on any supercar, it just so happens to look the best on a Lambo.
6. ADV5.2 Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsReminiscent of the horns on a bull the spokes of the ADV5.0 are sharp and strong as hell. While also being a split 5 spoke design, unlike the ADV5.2, the ADV5.0 spokes are widely split creating a more aggressive and in-your-face shape. Before the introduction of the top 3 of our list, this wheel was by far the best selling wheel in our arsenal for the Aventador. We loved the design so much we even had a few sets installed on our own shop car multiple times.
5. ADV5.0 Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsThere is literally no better wheel to complement your OEM Carbon Ceramic brakes than the ADV05. Not only are its openings between spokes as large as absolutely possible but we took a traditional 5 spoke wheel design and hollowed out the center allowing even more visibility of that carbon goodness below. Much like #10 on our list the ADV05 screams motorsport and performance due to its natural lightweight shape and modularity.
4. ADV05 Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsThis is where things got difficult for me to write. Partially because my hands were getting tired but mostly because these next 3 wheels were designed exclusively with Lamborghinis like the Huracan and Aventador in mind. Coming in at number three is the only directional wheel to make this list, meaning design points towards the front of the car and the wheels on the left side of the car are mirror images of the right side. Taking inspiration from OEM Lamborghini Wheels such as the LP640 Murcielago, Gallardo, and a sprinkle of Audi RS. As seen on this gold LP750-4 SV, the ADV5.3 and all ADV.1 Wheels can be made in with a center lock option rather than the typical 5 lug pcd.
3. ADV5.3 Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsYou remember that poster you had on your wall as a teen? She was hot. But remember that Lamborghini that was also out at the same time? We took the wheels that came on the Lamborghini Countach and Diablo and did our own modern-day rendition of it with the ADV05C. Although we’ve seen this wheel fitted to handfuls of Ferrari’s, McLaren’s and BMW’s we feel that it lends itself best to vehicles in the VW Group. For Lamborghini’s it’s something about its round circular spokes that contrasts the vehicles harsh and angular design and for Audi’s and Bugatti’s the ring shapes flow perfectly with the smoothness of the body lines.
2. ADV05C Track Spec CS Series Three-Piece Forged WheelsWe made it, finally. Actually you probably just scrolled down and skipped everything I just wrote. But that’s ok this is the only wheel that matters. (I’m kidding in case my boss reads this, they all matter and look great.) BUT NOT AS MUCH as this one. Now I’m not going to say Lamborghini copied us but the 2014 OEM LP610-4 wheel looks a whole lot like the ADV005 originally released in 2012. Kidding again as you may or may have not read above we take inspiration from Lamborghini all the time if they just so happen to see our design and ran with it we take it as the biggest compliment.
But this isn’t an open invitation to our competitors. You guys can come up with your own stuff. New for 2019 is the Advanced Series version of the ADV005. Making its debut at the SEMA show an R1 Motorsports built LP700-4 featuring various carbon fiber parts, a 1 of 1 custom R1 Motorsports exhaust system, and Novitec suspension, the ADV005 had people lining up to take photos creating quite the walkway blocking crowd. Sorry to the SEMA officials and fire martial. These wheels are an engineering marvel. Not only do they come with titanium hardware to cut down on weight but we’ve milled out material on the back pad of the wheel and even created pockets within the spokes creating a design queue unique to only the Advanced Series. But we didn’t stop there. Thanks to modern-day breakthroughs in machining capabilities we were able to add a new dimension to a once boring and flat center cap area in the form of undercutting creating floating inner spoke extension that made with an all-new center cap with raised arms. This new cut out and cap combo form a see-through ring where unneeded material once was. With each wheel taking over 6 hours to be precision machined with complex details, cutouts, and engravings the Advanced Series is unlike any other wheel on the road.
