Floating spokes are a thing! While we’re used to the wheel industry copying everything we do, we’re still waiting on it to copy our newest design feature, the floating spokes. After all, it takes a lot of hard r&d and a lot of precise engineering to build three-piece forged wheels with a design feature like this. And to make matters even more interesting, for this set of ADV05F Track Spec Advanced Series wheels, we chose a gorgeous Ultra White Lexus LC500 from Atlanta, Georgia, as the model to show these off. And we couldn’t find a better high-performance coupe to do this, that’s a fact.
Rocking a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, coming with a 7,300-rpm redline and a blistering 4.4-second 0-to-60 time, the LC500 offers a truly vivid driving experience. Match that with an active sport exhaust, allowing the unobstructed exhaust flow from the engine to hit those large dual exhaust pipes, and this thing will be coming to you, screaming at 7,300 RPM and making the hair on your arms stand up. You see, you don’t get any of that forced induction, low-volume, let’s be good to the environment fluff, just pure power, and rumble. Just the way we all like it. However, for the owner of this Lexus LC500, that wasn’t enough. Hence, some aftermarket tuning action was needed.
This particular LC500 features several exterior modifications. First, the owner added Tom’s Racing carbon fiber kit, giving the vehicle a bit of contrast and a more aggressive look. The vehicle, even though the OEM car is equipped with a pretty damn amazing suspension system, also received a set of RS-R Best-i active coilovers. In turn, the owner can still use the built-in suspension adjustment, allowing the driver to fully adjust the drive comfort settings. Definitely not overboard, but really needed. However, it’s the final accentuating touch that takes all the attention when looking at this Lexus.
The ADV05F Track Spec Advanced Series three-piece forged wheels come in sizes of 22×9.5 and 22×11 in the front and rear, respectively. For the finish, the owner went with a Brushed Liquid Smoke Gloss for the centers and Polished Aluminum lips. Furthermore, the Hidden Titanium Hardware keeps both the weight and business to a minimum, giving this Lexus LC500 owner a lightweight wheel setup that looks good but doesn’t impact the unsprung weight much. For the tires, these wheels are wrapped in Michelin Tires, giving plenty of traction and control. And all of this was installed by Buckhead Imports out of Atlanta, Georgia. A nice & clean build.
