While numerous individuals think that Rocket Bunny is an aftermarket tuning company, in reality it’s just a brand or a lineup of products, made by Key Miura from Japan. In recent years, Kei Miura’s design have gained global acknowledgement as some of the most appealing and trend-setting aftermarket aero solutions available on the market. Additionally, the Japanese-made Rocket Bunny utilize only the highest-quality carbon fiber reinforced plastic materials and proper curing times – preventing any and every possible distortion – for their aero program.
Unlike some, more price appealing kits, the Rocket Bunny begins its life thanks to a full vehicle laser scan. This creates a detailed 3D digital rendering of the stock vehicle, from which the master designer, Key Miura creates the final aero kit design. The designer draws inspiration from his background in Japanese classic car culture: he rethinks, reinvents and revolutionizes the overall shapes & design of modern vehicles with old school design cues. In turn, this allows for utmost precision when the actual parts are built, creating a contemporary take on decades old japanese car design. Naturally, Key ensures that the design key features of the original design of the vehicle are not ruined, but enhanced.
After the 3D design is done, the designer then mills it – thanks to their in-house CNC machine – in order to produce a negative out of a huge polystyrene block. After this procedure is done, the perfectly shaped and symmetrical master molds are made. From these, the Rocket Bunny kits are then made, offering some of the most quality and appealing aftermarket products available now.
The apanese-made Rocket Bunny kits are not massed produced. This ensures both an impressive collector’s item, but also pristine quality of the final products. The end result is a superior-fitting aero kit that comes with an interesting design, that’s sought of after by high-performance aficionados all over the world today. Naturally, no other fitting way to complement the kit like this than a set of custom forged aftermarket ADV.1 Wheels.
For this yellow Rocket Bunny Nissan GTR, the wheels chosen are the ADV06R Directional Track Spec wheels. In a fitting manner, these wheels are also a custom produced piece of quality automotive engineering that offers supreme fitment and intricate design. The wheels come in sizes of 22×11.5 and 21×14 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels feature a finish combination consisting of Custom Gunmetal for the centers and Custom Gold for the lips. The exposed hardware option works really well with the deep deep concave for these wheels as well.
The build was created by Drivetech Auto Garage from Indonesia, giving this Nissan GTR quite a unique look. Please take a look at a detailed media gallery of this Rocket Bunny Nissan GTR project right below.
